Can anyone tell me what sort of fuel pressure I should run with a 16t, turbo back (no cat), blue injectors and about 18psi? I seem to have 75psi at the moment...lol

I'v just fitted the manual fuel pressure regulator, so need to set it.

you got a bar gauge or psi gauge and set the gauge while the car is idioling at 3 bar hope this helps.

At tickover it's 45psi, at full throttle, full boost it's 75psi

i just removed an adjustable pressure regulator, it was set to 3 bar, bloody thing kept throwing up a fault code for 'long term fuel trim'.
Removed it & fitted a standard 3 bar regulator. Cars happy now & runs better.

Unfortunately the chap who will be mapping the car asked me to put one on.

if you're going to have a custom map it should be ok then.

BUT....... My 850 has....blue injectors, 16T, decat, 2.5 high flow exhaust etc. Rica mild custom tuned ecu. Runs 100% & pulls like an Italian playboy.

What boost are you running Claymore?
The standard regulator maintains 3 bar injection pressure so if your running 1.5bar boost it will run 4.5bar pressure (or thereabouts) to maintain the 3 bar injection pressure on the Mo 4.3/4.4.
Earlier ME7's run a static 3.8bar (not sure if it's all the 2.3's) which is arse when you run high boost as the injection pressure hits the floor as it doesn't change unlike the Mo4.3/4.4.
The later cars P2 R's and 2.4 T5's then switched to an electronic FPR to control the pump and are able to deliver pressure and flow right up to 8 bar (twin pumps in the tank). More electronics to go wrong but it is an effective system with no return to the tank unlike the 850's.

Unless you running 2bar boost 75psi is a little high but not miles off the mark tbh with the compensation for the boost pressure.

So 45psi at tick over rising to 65psi if I'm boosting to 20psi, that's the information I was after, now I know what size jets I need for the nitrous, cheers for that.
