Getting shafted

Hi All

Does anyone know if expolice T5’s are fitted with up rated drive shafts? I have a 2001 V70 and the off side drive shaft keeps coming out of the cv joint. Have been to main dealers to get new clips and they seem to small !!! Am assured by dealer that they are right ones for my car.

Don't think they are.

The V70s have thinner, weedier driveshafts than the 850s :(

Is it the right spring ? or is it too soft? or you could fit a washer at front of
driveshaft

Thanks for that. I know it’s a long shot but you don’t know the shaft measurements do you? My shaft is 17.52 mm diameter.

I have found a spring clip, which seems to fit better. Will have to wait and see if it stay’s on this time
