My R has a manual box, the 1st & 2nd gears are different from a M56 box (being as mine is an M59) can a manual driver please give it some stick in second to the rev limiter & tell me the speed it reaches?
I just wondered how much different the 'legs' are. My car will hit 68mph in second. what will a standard 850 T5 manual reach?

Mine's the same right pain when you have to snatch 4th to get over the 1/4 mile, if it was a touch longer it would be perfect.

Niles some clever person will be along to post the ratio's for you.

raise the rev limit to 7k you will go over the line then and the turbo you have will pull to the rev limit no probs mate ,i hope this helps smithy hq

I was reving mine to over 7 but i was hitting boost/fuel cutout so had to go for 4th..

Frankie it is indeed to do with the tyres. if i would've kept my 225/5/17s on i would've been fine, but i changed down to 215/40/17s..
