Lol guys the abbove post shows the dangers of a smart phone and predictive text.

It was this Fiesta it had been lowered and was a clean car, I wasn't going mad or anything just driving with gusto and this dam fiesta was right up my behind. It all bends, but well within the t5 that it, I need a faster car. What do I do ? I`m thinking of a M3 (fancy something rear wheel drive really or get a t5r with extras.

Not such a smart phone then was it :)

You need to have words with Pedro, Wobbly and a few others on here as to how you can show a Fester driver the dust from a 855 T5.

I might just do that but i really want an R anyway so might as well spend the money on that. As for the dam smart phone it is the new Samsung Galaxey S2 bloody massive phone its all very cleaver and all that, but as you say not very good on the spell checking front I guess I have to find some apps. and I need a spell checker badly as you can see from my posts.

what mods have you got done to the car?

you'll gain an extra 25bhp (thanks to a 16t turbo), all the luxuries, M59 gearbox (with vicous coupling), 17" wheels & the famous R bumper

yeah i used to do that because they dont see the brake lights aswel lol

my automatic mr2 is good for the brake test as you can stomp the brake pedal and then floor the loud pedal almost launching away , in fact the mr2 was pretty good at launching from a standstill even though its an auto

I thought the HLM upgrade gave me the similar results as a MBC I am also slightly worried about only being able to put in sell opimax or equivalent as there is no one local to me.

i dont run an mbc so i wouldnt know the difference but i am thinking of buying one and fitting it see what extra it gives me , when i had my remap done at HLM the difference was like night and day...and it wasnt that expensive either :)

I had read on here that there was not that much difference in a mbc and a remap. I timed my 0 to 60 time and its around 7 seconds and the car got plenty of punch its just that these last two cars have really wound me up.

I've just stuck another actuator on, As I'm 99% sure the old one was fubar.
I've set the new one at just 10psi instead of 14psi as I intend to raise it back up to 18psi with an MBC once I know everythings sweet with the running.

assuming your R was a manual then it would of had a better turbo (16t) than the 15g that would of been on your T-5

p fandango
Tuesday 28th June 2011, 16:36

the pressure side of the turbo goes to the MBC's inlet, the outlet to the actuator & remaining one off the BCS (going back to the air intake) you block up. You remove all the pipes from the BCS (boost control solenoid) so its being bypassed, but have to leave it plugged in to keep the ECU happy

True, Also not sure what boost I was running in the T5. Was hitting just below the end of the white on the standard gauge. Still went well though :D

not entirely accurate, but the end of the white is normally about 15psi
