Well i'm mulling that many things over in my head about what i want to do to my S60, then common sense tells me to pay some debts etc...Anyway here's a few things what's swilling round in my mind.

19 inch rims - maybe Lenso Cf or the R copies - £900 to £1200
Rica 310bhp - ITG - Iridiums - £620 ish ?
KW Coilover kit - £840 - Fitting £250 ?
MS Design Sideskirts and boot spoiler - £600 plus fitting & paint £200 ?
New Brembo Discs - Ferodo DS2500 pads - Poly bush kit - £400 fitted
Stainless exhaust - undecided on brand - BSR ? £450

Alternative is none of the above and pay DFS £1800 i owe them for 2 leather sofas - i rest my case!

First do the brakes, secondly the exhaust as best to do that before the Rica re map, then the Rica, then probably suspension then do the styling and wheels.

Stage 0 tune, RICA & Brakes (only need to do them on the front).
Styling afterwards

I wouldnt like to quote figures but adding a freer flowing exhaust will always help!

Well i've decided on what i'm doing for now at last, just awaiting a date from VT to get started, but i'm off all next week so hopefully soon.

Rica 310 Remap - ITG - Iridium Plugs - R.Road Set Up.

Koni Adjustables - HR -35mm Springs - Eibach Adj.Camber bolts

Brembo Fr. Discs - DS2500 Pads

Wishbone Suspension Bushes - Polyurethane Jobbys

As i'm off to the Nurburgring in September i think the sensible option has been selected, and Linda Barker gets half her money too - all happy.

Defo best to do rica first , your standard wheels look good and it takes the same amount of effort to stop from 100 mph rica or not, + with the free itg etc its well worth it, styling keep the stealth

Hamish persuaded me to get DS pads for my Nurburgring trip and he was SOOOO right. You will melt your brakes otherwise. Glad you are going Rica and pads...

Suspension is also a good idea there but don't go too crazy there and prang it!!! Uprated suspension will encourage higher speeds, so please get to know the circuit ( although I think you said you have been before, so hope I'm not patronising you!)

I'm with Lance, tuning first, styling second..stuff Linda Barker ( always an option - she might take it as part payment)

Personally don't like those alloys either...go for somethin understated...I really like the R allys...

Well i finally chose a set of alloys i like, price is right etc and lo and behold they don do them in a Volvo fitment - grrrr - gutted or what. Oh the wheels were TSW Catalunya in Graphite on 19in.

Will the 19's fit straight on to the V70 / S60 without stiffening and playing with the suspension? The reason i ask is i like the look of the R copies on the same website as you mentioned earlier, and i'll be needing 3 new tires before too long, so i'm tempted to slap mine on ebay and get some new ones.

I'd like 19's but i'm not too fussed about riding around in a car with solid suspension, so i might have to go for the 18's instead!

What about these ? But i can only get them in 18in though, any comments on them in regards to an S60 fit.

Just to add my opinion.

The sensible thing to do is brakes, suspension, wheel DECENT tyre, then rica / zorst etc........

You will probably rica then brake [due to fearing for your life - lol] then suspension, wheels / exhaust etc etc...........

Enjoy whatever you do. DFS is 0% also ;)

How was the drive back mate

TangoDeltaSierra3
Saturday 13th August 2005, 00:25
Lance we didn't get finished until approx 18.45pm, and altho running fine it wasn;t achieving full boost for whatever reason, Adam reckoned it might need some software upgrade, as it was late and a long day for all we called it a day and i'm going back soon to finish it off, feels ace tho above 90mph, kinda nailed it at 90 to 130 most of way home, so overall the bulk of the job was done tho.
