When did V70R recieve a facelift

I'll grand you it wasn't a very big facelift but i want the body coloured bodykit and side strips and i'm wondering when that hapened.

From what i've seen it looks like it was around 05-55 plate which is later than the much more extensive V70 phase 2 face lift of 04?

Hi,

MY2005 S60 and V70 received a facelift.

It started on 54 plates and the lucky owners got:

colour coded bump strips
different bumpers
t5 received a detuned R engine 2.4
different and much better centre console
lost pen holder for different gear stick assembly, type dependant on model
silver surround on stereo
dash changed to darker colour starting in MY2004
front seats changed, fitment and headrest is thinner
ecu highspeed canbus doubled in speed
headlights changed from glass horrible to scratch happy but smarter plastic, not bi xenon
updated PAS header bottle thing.
different alloys
engine outputs, some are higher

How can they have a "detuned R engine"? The R engine on a 2003> is 2.5 (2521cc to exact). If it was detuned per say, then it would just be a simple remap and a smaller turbo. If the bore size has been decreased physically then it's NOT an R engine anymore. I bet they don't have a Racing sump, VVT on both inlet AND exhaust, Lightened crankshaft, pistons, con-rods and other bits that i have probably missed. I would love to know! As far as i know, it's not the same engine.
