dont know if any1 can help, my pipe from engine to the intercooler keeps popping off when the boost kicks in, thought id fixed it with another clip but no popped off when boosting about 10psi.

since this my engine warning light has came on totally confused.
there is no lack of power, up until the pie comes off

Which one? the one going into the top of the IC?

its to the bottom of the intercooler, if not the intercooler its the radiator

tried taking pipes off but the have been siloconed on and some off the clips wont come undone,

is it coming off the intercooler or is the pipe coming out of the rubber joiner?, if it's the pipe coming off, does the pipe have a lip around it? one trick is to make sure everything is clean, and spray some hair spray onto the joint before refitting.

Swag or double clip is the way.

its the rubber coming off the pipe, took it all off today cleaned inside the rubber then put some silocan sealent on and double clipped, letting it all dry then will take it for spin.
just dont know why the engine management has came on all of a sudden

The engine management light comes on if it detects any form of abnormality and in your case a VAC leak. They usually go off around 200 miles after the problem is rectified.

well done a nice trip to skeg and the pipe didnt come off, so looks like that is sorted but the management light is still on, haven't got a machine to find out what it could be, cant think what it could be as car still runs excellent.....

it can take upto 75mile for the computer to relearn the condition of the car, so it might still be showing the errors for the pipe coming off. Certain codes won't self-erase tho so might need them to be read anyway

done 200 yesterday, will have to see if any mates have got code reader

disconnect the battery over night and that should clear any codes
