What is the maximum boost a 15g turbo will produce with appropriate mods???

i used to run 20.8psi from mine, but the turbo is well out of its efficient boost levels running that high. 15-16psi is about as good as you can expect from it

30psi is fine

I used to run mine at 18 PSI and had no problems and will be running the same again in the new car.

i would go for 18psi for longivity of turbo and other bits, but upto 20-21 acceptable, or just push the right foot pedal a little harder :-)

I would change the turbo for a more efficient item if you want high boost numbers. They are really inefficient when out of their respective efficiency island if you take a look at their compressor efficiency maps. Really much beyond 18psi is not worth it from a 15g even with extensive cooling mods and WI.

Out of interest, what's the maximum (efficient) boost on an 18T Alan? Around 1.7bar?

Pr = (desired boost + 14.7) / 14.7
CFM = (engine cc x rpm x Ve x Pr) / 5660
A few calcs for those interested.
