hi all a guy i know is breaking a late v70 t5j classic me7 is it worth getting the turbo and manifold plus injectors and wil it make much of a difference to my already mapped t5?

If your running a 15g then i would take the turbo,manifold and probably the injectors if there blues,i would install all this and get your map re done to get the most out of the 16t.

yeah you would need a different map to make the most out of the different turbo

You will definately notice a difference even without a map, the 16T spools quicker and the power extends higher up the rev range.

16T is marginally slower to boost but will hold higher boost for longer. I was advised against using the map that you have with this set up on my car due to the possibility of boost spikes on gear change and possibly running lean at the top end. Spiking won't be a problem if you drive a manual, but i would, at the very least be extremely careful setting up the mbc after the 16T and manifold have gone on.

cheers for the advice lads will take all this into acount the guy is breaking the whole car he a local small breaker only does volvos he nt very clued up on whats what with the later stuf but he dirt cheap for parts lol
