Does the lip on a v70r front spoiler come off separately from the rest of the bumper?

I like the look but HATE the design fault on the R bib - always cracks the paint on either side of the air intake which looks pants. I am sure that there must be a way to bond in some shaped steel to make this bit rigid. What do you reckon TC?

Certainly possible, scuff the plastic up on the rear, get some steel mesh and either araldite or hot glue it in place, may look a bit pants but it would add some strength.
