hi there,can someone please enlighten me on how the fuel pump ect works on the d5 v70 02 model, im having problems at minite ,the car jumps into limp mode when tank is low on fuel and runs out at quarter tank on fuel gauge,the aa man says that the pump is not working that changes from 1 side of tank to the other, he hit with an hammer and was ok ?????????? can anyone please help me understand the basic operation of the tank, also i noticed whilst changing my oil filter that there is a brownish substance around 1 of the injectors, i tried cleaning with a bit of wd and bubbles were appearing,i tightened down a touch and im sure theres gases leaking at minite, the car is running really rough at min and was wondering if this could be the cause or would you say i have a fuel contamination issue, regards jim
