hi, Warped standard discs, so changed to tarox drilled and grooved 305 with black diamond pads, fade not so bad but still think could stop quicker at fast road pace . Is it the pads ?

Black Diamond are not the best by far mate, go for some DS2000 or 2500 race pads, no fade at all ;)

Hi guys, thanks, its my baby, and the V70R ;)

DS performance and DS2500 pads can be fitted to standard disks on any Volvo, ring VT and speak to Hamish, i have DS2500 on mine, and after 14 miles of hells bells with a E39 M5 (that took less than 8 minutes :) ) there is ZERO FADE!

Infact, they got better the harder you pushed them, absolutely awesome pads, and they are fitted to Brembo standard 302mm disks on my R ;)

DS2500 are awesome pads - it is what they use on the AP Kits (which is why you don't need to spend 1500 buying the kit). I ran them on my 850R and now have them on my C70. I have not heard or experienced any thing that comes close.
