I got my clutch today to put on my new engine (v70 t5 that was auto) iv got to put my manuel gearbox on it off my 850 t5 will there be any problems doin this or isit a straight swap with no problems? Thanks

Pedro, I don't think it's an auto to manual swap, just the engine from an auto being used on a manual car.
Is that right Mongo?

Don't see any probs with the swap, but can't help you regards the need for any special tools. Someone will know though.

Yea ur right jel just wernt sure if there was any issuses with the fly wheel or that thanks for your post mate.

As far as I know mate, no issues- The B5234T3 should be a (relatively) simple swap- as that's the engine that went in the 850, V/S70P1, V/S70P2, R and C70 (all the T5s up to 2004 iirc) The only differences being the turbo size, fuel set up (no throttle cable on P2s) and management system. HTH

Just bolt the fly wheel on with new bolts and thread lock then the clutch and your away, change the rms while you are there.

i did this with a vr6 bought a auto engine for a manual box just put my bits on off it trot i think ecu's might be a problem unless you have bought a manual one i myself can't see any issues
