Easy!
Remove the tensioner from the wheel arch. Change the belt, put the tensioner in the vice close it up, put a nail in to keep it compressed. Put the tensioner back in place and pull the nail out.

Obviously timing needs to stay the same. The Haynes book of lies covers it pretty well.

its quite an easy job if you know what your doing,
could be a dissaster if you dont.

pics show how belt should look,
and pic of tensioner, with pin in position,
squeeze the tensioner back very slowly with light pressure, dont force it back or you will damage it,

not very good pics, but hopefully you can see....
someone must have better pics....most likely the forum picture whore....mr fandango :)

Your right.

Before you begin work find tdc on the crank pulley. Then make sure the Mark on the cams line up b4 you remove the belt. Its possible to remove the cam shafts from the cogs. Mine were no where near the marks!

Hardest parts are seeing the bloody timing mark on the crank pulley (as it's barely a scratch on one of the teeth) and getting the sodding belt over the stupid protrusion behind the crank pulley, other than that it's a doddle.

Once the belts back on rotate the engine over a few times with a wratchet on the crank pulley, that way you can double check the belt tensions and that nothing is hitting, then you can re-align the timing marks and check everything's as it should be, then start it up.
