The H&R lowering springs I have fitted to my estate are for a saloon (came of my 854 T5R) they will fit but are slightly softer. I havent had a problem with them, infact they sit better in my opinion.

Yeah exactly as pedro says providing you havnt got nivomats (self leveling suspension).
The only difference is the weight, as the estates springs are rated at a higher maximum weight than the saloons.

My back end of my 855 sits dead low, thinking it may be worn soggy Nivomats, can these be swapped easy for a set of H/Duty rear springs and conventional shocks, or will the car lift itself back up afetr a bit of action driving over speed humps etc?

i'm sure they can be swopped to the normal suspension but have to change the rear top-mounts as well as the springs & shocks

The car has been laid up for almost a year, do you think it will pump itself up? someone told me that they squat down after being stood and it will raise up again after it bouncing up and down a few times

the self levelling is all built into the rear shock absorbers & tbh not sure exactly how they work, might be worth giving it a drive to see before replacing them
