rocker cover numbers

can anyone assist here.

on the rocker cover to the left rear is a number. one i have for sale has B3340 on it. the next raised section it has 33 or 3.3

now i was asked to check these numbers as someone else has a cover but this also has B3340 on it but the number is 31 or 3.1

is there a difference between rocker covers on the 20 valve engine or will it fit them all?

is from a v70 t5 (non me7) as i can only assume the me7 cover is different due to vvt or is that just a blanking plate where dizzy sits in earlier models?

there are a few different covers, some have the extra breather the same as Mongo's having issues with.

as for the dizzy is it just a cover on ME7 covers, i fitted a dizzy to the ME7 head i've got. Notice its got inspection holes for all the cam lobes on the ME7. It does have the VVT on the left handside which obviously the early head don't have

i'm not sure what the numbers represent tbh, it could be just batch numbers. But there are different versions
