Radio backlights not working

Hello everyone.

My radio backlights have stopped working all of a sudden today. Not drastic i know but rather annoying.

Radio etc works fine, just not the back lights.

Anyway know how to repair this?

It's a HU-650 stereo

Could be a loose wire at the back of the headunit

might give that a try, any ideas how to get to the back of it?

There will be somewhere to insert removal keys that you may need to get from Volvo should only be a couple of quid

Don't know if it's the same as the earlier ones but they have a small tab you push in and then pull out to reveal a handle (one each side). If you need keys you'll have two small holes one above the other on each side of the stereo.
