Hi, Was just interested if the 16t turbo is better than a 15g?

Is there any differance in performance going from a 15g to 16t?

or should i wait and go for a 18t or 19t?

any help apreciated.

also is the pipe work still the same? oil feed and water feed.

the 16t is much better than the 15g as for the 18t i didnt really see any difference between that and the 16t i am now on a 19t and it flies getting either an 18 or 19 is very difficult though, ive had all of them they are all good except the 15 which runs out of puff

directly replacing a 15g with a 19t will give plenty of lag, as said more top-end but just not the get up & go intially. With some other bits to match (larger RIP & throttle body) the 19t will wind up alot better

my car dont have any lag you just make sure when you want to put your toe down you are in the right gear they are all small turbos at the end of the day

15g all the way IMO, super punchy like a modern TD, unlike a TD it has top end power too...

even with the 15g i used to go down 2 gears when thrashing it, but direct comparison theirs a noticable different between the 15g & 19t. As i said tho with the RIP & TB it now boosts just as quick as the 15g did, the boost just never ends now lol
