Evenin all....

Well I replaced my vac lines today and the one to the fuel regulator put a bit of instant gasket just for good measure on the pipe that goes from the maf to the turbo. And now i ve got boost again...:yikes:

The only prob now is that it gets to about 14 psi and feels like it cuts out then goes again to 14 psi (after dropping to about 10 ish)

Any ideas?

maybe you have blocked the pipe with the instant gasket.........
you shouldnt put anythin on it,or need to put anythin on it if the pipe is the correct size,
i think best thing to do is retrace your steps and just check everythin you done to illiminate that as a problem.

it was doing it before ...the only area i did it on was where the two tubes that come from under the inlet manifold and go onto the pipe to the turbo(from the maf) and it was only an exterior seal....if that makes sense

I used to have a gauge that was reading out. Possible yours might be under reading by 2psi+

I believe most remaps will either move up or remove the boost cut. In the meantime set it slightly lower

I have asked this many times this week :) but is 18psi safe to set a MBC to with RICA installed? reason I ask is that most people are setting theirs to 14psi
