boost

Evenin all.....


When im getting to about 5psi my wastegate(i presume from the sound...) is opening and im getting no boost.

It feels like it is juddering, kinda like a misfire..
I know I have a cracked ht lead (which is being replaced) but it doesnt tick over lumpy. but would this have any contributing fact to it?

It also seems to of only started doing it today after I fitted my boost gauge.( i ve disconnected the one going to the dash and plumbed that to my new 1)

Replace the ht lead and try again. It could be that you have introduced a boost leak in the system when plumbing in your new boost gauge.
