That does look very clean but abit pricy,maybe around £1500/£1800.
The big engined volvo's are not making the money,maybe because of fuel prices and them not being hot on mpg lol

I am very biased - C70 is the best shape Volvo ever penned.

The C70 in the ad - I'd say is worth about 2K so if you can get them down a bit then great.

With work they can be fantastic. I had an absolute hoot with mine around Cadwell park. You'd be welcome to view mine, in Telford.

Also I'd be happy to come & help view the car if you want a 2nd opinion.

i have an 850 t5 atm.
just looking for something with less underlying issues so i can keep for a few years.

my only concerns are, every volvo dealer in the land says the 850 is the best car volvo made, so id be getting away from that slighly.
Also i love that these cars have great steros, has any one changed the head unit? is this a simple task, i want my ipod to work in it basically.

for 80k with a FSH i thought 2400 was a good price, how come people are asking for £4k+ for similar models? also the same dealer has a p reg v70 with 10,000 miles less for 3850. have i missed something here?

Having had a few 850's then a c70 i would say the c70 is the better car on the road.
Ive changed the head unit but i had to buy another harnes so i could use the volvo amp,also had a few problems with a whine noise but got this sorted in the end.
I still think he wants too much for it.
I payed just over 1k for mine,ok its done more miles and had a few small issues but didnt cost me much to get her running good again.

TBH I think that the market will support what ever you are prepared to pay. I paid 7k nearly 5 years ago for mine & it had 54K on it at the time. At 11 years old & at least 1 years more mileage on it 2.5K seems a little steep. 2K seems about right to me.

As I said the C70 is a lovely car to drive - very refined & smooth. It doesn't have the rawer nature of the manual throttle but I still believe it is a car worth considering. You can test mine once the gearbox is back on (in about a week or so).

Mine hasnt got one,think it was just with the gt model.

i got offered a 1999 c70 t5 gt with only 117000 on the clock the other day for £800 so you can get a bargain these are cheap now

It was the "DOLBY Pro Logic Sound Option" that had the Speaker on the top Centre Dash ....

Mine aint got one either (But thats coz I got the "Pop up" Sat Nav screen there ...)
