C70 speakers/no sound

Ok i installed a aftermarket cd player to the c70,all powers on fine but i get no sound.
Is this to do with the amp volvo have in the car ?
If so how do i sort this.

When i had the Alpine setup in my old c70, i had to turn it's internal amp "to off" this then let the Volvo's amp work.

Ive found it now on the net,basicly to use a aftermarket head unit you have to re wire all the speakers to the harnes,or buy a kit that plugs into your volvo amp then into the aftermarket headunit.

same with me but I had my alpine professionally fitted.
