Well some have seen my new sig pic and some havent.
Well collected my new volvo on sunday morning and im very impressed with her, shes the newest volvo ive owned and im very happy with her, shes got a few little problems that need sorting but for a bag of sand shes not to bad.

She drives so smooth, power is good for standard and she handles better than my 850 did lol.
Shes a C70 T5 1999 me7.

Im happy to have had the fastest 850 last year.
Will be happy with a 13 sec pass once finished in this one,not really looking for major power just a quick all round car.

She looks lovely. Needs shinier wheels - anthracite looks a bit dull to me.

If you need any help or advice with the car - I'll happily help. I also have a few spares should you need (including a door & a boot lid).

I am biased but I do find that the handling is pretty good on the C's

Very nice and in my opinion the best looking car Volvo have ever made.

Just need to update it with the later jewel headlights and later style grille. That was my intention when i had mine, but it didn't stop there, lowered it, remapped it, electric seats put in it, Porsche brake setup put on it, 18" pegs lol.

nice car, but prefer colour of mine of course. there is another black one in doncaster that i know off.

not sure i will be in yours and dave's club when it comes to grunt but my midlife crisis has started and the tuning bug has started. had stainless system sorted today so got a decent sound out of mine now. off to brum next month for the remap.

i'm going to cheat a little when it comes to getting a decent output, just going to buy a built engine that i can fit (getting old and lazy) just not decided where to get this from. just don't tell the wife other wise she'll want the money for something in the house instead

been playing in the sunshine with mine today.

pulled the radiator fan out, cleaned all inside of it, then as i was in there decided to pull the etm off to clean it as its been on the car for 2 yrs and done around 40,000 miles, it wasn't to bad and took around 10 mins to clean like new inside it. not a bad job to do really, took more time getting the fan and cowling out than it did to get etm off.

also checked all vac hoses while i was in there and once back together ticks over as sweet as it ever did.

mines already got the poly bush top mount.

also fabricated my own strut brace today thats more substantial than the volvo item, taking it to local shop to have it chromed before put pics up of it.

can't beat playing when on hols instead of looking after kids

as far as the map goes its hlm for me just don't know what map to have. any suggestions welcome.

Lets just say it took me about 3 hours to fit and i will never do it again lol, didnt take dash out managed to get to the screws behind with a small torx on a small socket.
Did lose some skin on hands though lol.
The one around the gear gator was easy and also the one on the glove box lid.

Cheers, i suppose i could do the bit around the gearstick and the glovebox, unfortunatly its the center part that has the big scratch on it.

Looks good. I am impressed that you have made up the RIP as I never believed it possible with all the sensors on the pipe leading into the ETM. Have you noticed any difference in the spool up time?

I cut the pipe just after the caped off hole just before the other long sensor.
It does seem to spool alittle quicker and also seems stronger when pulling.

Fitted a filter today and air trap, was surprised the way the standard plastic part that goes into the top of the intercooler seems covered up on the other side and i couldnt work out how the air from the grill would pass through.
Was different on the 850,well i cut a bit out anyway so the air can get through there pritty well now.

Car defo seems to pull better with the rip and filter now just need to get the exhaust on and take her to the rollers before and after a map.

Ok just alittle update.

Managed to get a set of silver comets on her and must say shes looking better and stand's out alot more.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v489/rnash2002/DSCF1180.jpg

Ok after this i decided to spray the grill up and now looks better, just need to change the badge as mine is alittle worn.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v489/rnash2002/DSCF1189.jpg

Ok fitted a boost gauge and a polly top mount.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v489/rnash2002/DSCF1184.jpg

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v489/rnash2002/DSCF1186.jpg

Ok so after this i got the obx system fitted, all went pritty well but the tail pipe came out abit too long from the back bumper so had to get this chopped and rewelded.
Doesnt sound too bad, maybe abit raspy but doesnt drone at all at speeds and sounds pritty nice when you boot it.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v489/rnash2002/DSCF1182.jpg

Ok so after this and the gauge went in i noticed it was boost alot more than standard so must have been mapped some where as 1st gear only boosts to 3/4psi and all the rest go to 16 psi.
Booked it into the rollers but before i went i decided to time a 60 to 100 mph time as i had my old vids from the 850 to compare it to.

http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v489/rnash2002/?action=view&current=DSCF1168.mp4

Well to my surprise it was slightly quicker than the 850 so though it must be putting out so good power.

Ok got it dynoed and only made 256bhp and 300 lbft it made the 300lbft at 16psi but made the 256bhp at around 14psi as the boost dropped off.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v489/rnash2002/DSCF1175.jpg

So was alittle dissapointed but still pulls better on the road than the dyno would suggest.

So will see what she pulls at york then probably fit a k24,vxr injectors and try and get a map that maxes out the turbo.
