hi all another one to pick the brains...my drivers door does not lock the button at the window stays down as to look locked but its not,the passanger rear door on the same side stays locked and can only be opened from inside anybody know what can be causing this.....thanks...john

I had this happen on my S40, does it move slightly when you lock it with the key fob? If so try and grab it with some pliers and pull it up when its unlocked. Worked for me and sprayed a spot of WD40 down it and its worked since. Door wouldnt lock at all even with the key. Just got stuck

Is the door lock going down but not locking at all?
