I always use this guy -mtec (for drilled and grooved) - never been disappointed!

was thinking about getting these for mine but didnt know what they were like are they any good if you drive fairly hard cheers :)
and any one got feedback on mintex pads ?

Personally I've not had a problem with mintex pads on the volvo... but I would recommend using a harder compound if you're going to be nailing it on a regular basis. Mintex are a good all round pad, but they will fade once the rotors start to get very hot. You have need to weigh up how responsive you need your brakes to be when the rotors are cold i.e. when driving in traffic. This is where Mintex are good.
I did use the mtec/mintex combination on my Impreza and found that I got the pads sticking to the discs after driving hard and stopping leaving the brakes on (faux pas I know). This left some pad material on the rotors which caused juddering under braking at high speeds. I went back to EBC yellow and the rotors cleaned themselves up and all was well.
The mtec rotors seem to be of good quality and last well.
