ignition amplifier wiring

i've got the MSD coil but need to figure out which is the positive & which is the negative from the amplifer, i'm assuming the red is positive & blue is negative but would like to know for sure

is it not marked on the amplifier.
i think some of them have plus symbol and neg symbol raised in the mould where the plug pushes on.....

no nothing mate, all its got is 1 2 3 4 written above the plug terminals. Nothing on the coil either
