Driving home today my autobox appeared to jump out of gear gave a big thump and then refused to change either up or down.
I now have "gearbox needs service" in my info centre.
Worst still i fly to Portugal in the morning and i hate unresolved problems with my car.
Is this a main stealer job ?
Dont think its even driveable as i had major problems getting up my drive , seemed to be in too high a gear.
Any ideas ? i am thinking Torque converter has gone perhaps ?
Anyone had experience of similar problems ?
