Engine help

Is their anything i would need to change to make a T5R engine fit in my car that had a T5S engine in it ? they are the same year and look identical but is their something that i dont know ?

The block/engine itself is the same. It shouldsay on the engine stamp and plastic timing cover B5234T on your engine and the T5 will be the same bar the last digit.

so it should just bolt straight in and work techincally then ?

they are the same engine the "t5" is the engine name

yeah mine is dead so iv found a reasonable price t5r lump just wanted to check all would be ok before i bought it lol

They are the same engines, one will fit each other.

no they are the same engine a t5 engine is a t5 engine

are you sure , they have differnt numbers

B5234T is the t5 engine
B5234T5 is the t5r engine and the 850 r auto engine
B5234T4 is the 850r manual engine

They had different sized turbos depending on what gearbox there were connected to

only on the manual R which had a 16t, the others had 15g's on that list
