I need some help here!!! Not a damsel in distress, but a Volvoer (is that the term for us Volvo drivers??)

My fuel pump isn't priming on my 1997 940 when I turn the ignition on, and I believe that this is due to the immobilizer as it's been a bit funny at times.

I know there is the common problem of the fuel pump relay, but I am looking to just bypass this and do my own set up on it and have the fuel pump on a switch on the dashboard or wire it up into the ignition barrel.

The help I need though, is where are the wires that go to the fuel pump that give it the +12V signal? I need to tap into these wires to make it work again.

Cheers in advance for any help :)

The fuel pump relay just needs some solder on it. Mine went on my old 940, was intermittent and I just resoldered the joints inside the relay.

Wiring for the Fuel pump routes direct from the relay in the centre console, down the left side of the car to the fuel pump. Thing is that the relay also outputs to the in tank fuel pump, and the O2 sensor and other things.
