ECU light still works fine... :(

Dam light has come on, my car been running a rica since christmas, it seems my car doesn't like doin alot of miles in one day... Its done 4 trips today of varied mileage, 2 round trips of about 15 miles, a trip to sheffield 50 odd mile round trip and up to leeds hospital 50 odd miles where up on comin out of hospital decided to throw the light on after bein switched off for all of 10 minutes, car still runs fine... Fackin thing...

you might find its running a slightly lower not noticable boost level, or may be doing some other things to protect the engine, or as you say it may not be doing anything out of the normal but put the light on to tell you there is a fault. Your best bet is to read the codes & see what it says
