Finally got some pics of the new car! Unfortunately I dropped my camera on New Year's Eve and haven't got round to replacing it yet so the poor quality is due to having to use my mobi.

I gratefully took ownership from Volvokid so some of you may have seen her before. She's an awesome T5 SE Lux with virtually every added toy. An absolute delight to drive and VK's kept her in immaculate condition so I intend to do the same. She's a might thirstier than the C70 2ltr lpt that she replaces but hey, that's 'The T5 Way' right?!!

There's nothing that I am really desperate to do mod wise. Can't decide on a re-map.

Here are a few piccies...

Or you could become one of those cabrio drivers you see, wearing big hat and snow suit driving with the top down no matter what...going round the M25 shivering their nuts off but also thinking they look so cool...LOL

I saw a cabrio driver (saab) with their top down on Byres road here in Glasgow, it's been sleeting and snowing this morning and isn't warm!

Only put the top down if the temp is in double digits (in Celsius!)

Lovely looking car, starting to regret selling ours last year.

I don't know if you are aware or if indeed there is any truth in it but the guy we bought it off said to try wherever possible, to raise and lower the roof on the flat because apparantly doing it on a steep gradient, with the help of gravity can stretch the cable workings.

As i said I am not sure if he was pulling our leg but you never know.

It just adds extra stress to the workings is all. Same as doing it on the move, where the boot lid would act as a sail. Same can be said for closing it when park with a front wheel on a kerb for example, where the chassis would have very slight torsion bend.

Still.... awesome thing to show off with at a VPC meet :D
