I have actually returned it to an original grille now but the one there is a PFV chrome with black mesh, a hand modified slash logo, and an R from, well, a V70R.
It was in an extreme state of polish at that point, having I think, been clayed, and then polished with a spray laquer (Wobbly will no doubt have a better idea than me on these products). Incidentally, it does now need a thoroughly good repolish. So if there are any expert polisher/valeters in the South London (ten minutes from Blackwall Tunnel) who want to do the work, let me know.

No they aren't black, they're Jaguar Carlton Grey,which is the nearest match to the wheels on the car when I bought it. I much prefer the darker colour. Here's another photo. BTW I can think of two other users who've got red 850Rs, how many have we got on the forum ?

This paint apparently is heat proof up to 100ish degrees....
I want all the pipe work under the hood to be red......

Indeed it is a Tomcat special and as you can see I had it sprayed the colour of the car. Personally I think it looks better that way, but that's a matter of opinion. One thing I will say about Tomcat's splitters is that they fit so well.
