Does anyone know the co2 limit for the MOT?

According to my last test, Fast idle co is max 0.20 and natural idle is 0.30.

Cruise, 1670 RPM
limit HC, CO(%), CO+CO2(%), O2(%)............. 150, 1, 6, n/a

Idle, 860 RPM
limit HC, CO(%), CO+CO2(%), O2(%)............. 220, 1.2, 6, n/a

my car failed on emissions the first time and on re-test i give the engine a good clear out revved it alot and then got him to stick the probe in (so to speak)and it passed with a zero reading lol

Best thing you can do is blag it... tell the MOT garage its a 1993 T5 with a private reg. Pre 1994 didnt require cats if I remember correctly.

HC = 1117 ppm :(

do we think she's running a bit rich? a well the boares should be nice and clean after that wash :)

Sadly if it's ever been tested before under computerisation the VOSA computer will tell the tester what the vehicles year of first registration is regardless of private plates.

That sounds like a knackered Lambda or possibly MAF.
