Flash engine management light

Hey all when on way home from work I went to overtake a car and put my foot down the auto box kicked down and the revs rose up around 4000, then the engine management light start flashing and backed all the power off. Then within 10 sec it stopped flashing and it was normal again. What could cause this?
Plus it's nor the t c light as that's next to it.
It's a v70 2.3 t5
Any suggestions would be helpful.

Had this with mine. Was the throttle body, and just kept getting worse. Bleedin dangerous when overtaking.

It's a 2004 on a 53 plate how big a job is to fix?

First get the fault codes read from the car to be sure.
