Hi all, will the above car run on proper biodiesel made by a company rather than self mixed etc? Dont want to kill the car.

Thanks, Dan.

we have had nothing but trouble with this type of fuel it seems to clog everything up fuel tank filter lines and then injectors i would not use this at all its not worth the tiny saving imo

I wouldn't bother. FYI there is biodiesel in most mixes of diesel from the pump, but an 04 car is not best for the job IMO. I used had a 306 d-turbo a few years ago and ran it on biodiesel from these guys:

I must have replaced the paper fuel filter every other tank, it broke down once - but it smelt like chips which was nice. :)

Thats a shi$$er, as its a big saving really and if you do make your own with a proper kit then its an absolutely massive saving if you get used oil.
I ve also heard about biodiesel being in pump diesel which to me is just another case of them up there robbing us even more as they are using substandard and extremely cheap mixed ingredients in regular fuel and charging us the earth and blaming it on the price of barel oil.
Is it a recent thing with the biodiesel being in regular fuel or has it been going on for a while?

Ta, Dan

It's been around for a couple of years I think. Have you considered a remap the other way capping the power and torque reducing the amount of throttle you can have. Could lead to increased fuel consumption?!?!

Officially no, but it's your call. By chance was it this kit you were looking at for personal use?
