Are a lot of money. :D
If I order the caliper brackets they do for the Porsche set up, What calipers do I need? There seems to be loads of different size/fitment Porsche calipers about, But they don't mention what ones they use.
Figure I'll still use the 330mm set up, But get the bits as and when I can justify the spending, Rather than one hit. :)

Have a good search on the old posts you will find lots on big brake kits.

Does that mean the likes of 964/996 etc won't fit? Different size discs?

Found some on e Bay at a pretty decent price, Part number 996 352 422.

EDIT: No worries they won't. I need the 32mm disc fitment not 28mm.

To be honest, I have 302mm (whole upgrade less than £200) and it is streets ahead of the standard 280mm - yes, it won't do for racing, but I have never had a problem with fast road use yet - and when they wear out, it is just standard V70 P1 equipment so dead cheap by comparison to an AP disc etc. And you can fit it all under any Volvo 17" and most 16" rims (except Columba). For big brakes you will need 18" rims IIRC.

Once you have braided hoses on, the conversion takes about half an hour per side.

I hardly need to say, contact Rufe (Simon) at FRF Volvo Swansea say your are from VPCUK and he will sort you out.

Yeah thought that, But I'm after some Pegs (See sig :D)
Once they go on I want something that'll fill it up a bit.
Can still be a fairly cheap upgrade considering what you get.

And they look puuurrrrrty :D

Good brakes are great, my dad's 996 stopped rather well with standard oem stuff.

993TT = 993-351-425-10 + 993-351-426-10

That might be a tad expensive in one hit, Straight after Christmas too.
I'd rather get bits and bobs here and there. But thanks for the offer :)

Not a bad buy is that - although the discs are shagged - wonder what the bell-ends are like...?

I'd be interested in these, but then remembered that they won't fit on my 17" comets. Which is a shame as the AP's and WP pro's can fit on 17's.

Discs are fine, It's the extra 2 rotors that come with the alloy bells that are shagged.
Thats how I read it anyway.

Silly cheap, As is the suspension. Damn you!

PM'd him about the suspension, As someones already shown interest in the brakes.
Cars not quick enough to need the brakes 'Just' yet anyway.
