Got a DV and blanking kit on its way.... had a quick look today but I can't see where it's meant to go!

Don't see any recirculating DV in there....

It's a '95 T5

It's on the turbo, fit the blanking plate but not the new dump valve and take it for a spin first sounds so much better (some say it might mess the turbo but I wouldn't worry as I'm guessing u won't b running silly boost)

you can see the triangular recirc blanking plate on the right of the turbo

As mensioned the blanking plate goes on the turbo to replace the recirc valve. The dump valve is usually fited between the intercooler and idle control valve right at the front of the car.

Cool, see how it goes now!

Will be running a BAR of boost with a Rica map soon. It is tempting to just run without one as I love the sound of turbo stall..... just don't really want to be replacing a turbo though!

Are 16t turbos and 350cc injectors expensive/come up often?

Indeed you will!

The 16T's are fairly common but becoming rarer, can be anywhere from £50-£100, as for injectors £30-£60 depending on whether they have recently been refurbed or cleaned.

Ive got mine looking the same, but im not sure where to run the vaccum pipe from the top of the valve too..... My fitting kit just say attatch to inlet manifold. Is that one of the pipes coming off of the exhaust manifold?? there are 2, one above the other. The lower one looks more like the size i need.... Please help as im worried i'll do it wrong and shag the engine or something. My saab 9-5 is SOOO much easier to work on.

The vac for the DV comes off the INLET manifold, in the same place as your recic valve vac hose.
