Guys,

I think I know the answer, but if I said I'd run a compression test on my PoS Saab and the results were (dry) :

Cyl 1: 190psi
Cyl 2: 165psi
Cyl 3: 185psi
Cyl 4: 180psi

And wet:

Cyl 1: 200psi
Cyl 2: 190psi
Cyl 3: 190psi
Cyl 4: 190psi

... you would say? ...

I'd do a cyl leakage test as you'll get more information. O.K. a dry test is showing a cylinder slightly down, but with a bit of lube ( as when running ) things equal up significantly. Valve or rings? a cyl test will tell.

Thanks mate. Valve or rings? Really I don't care because neither's going to be fixed -- I just wanted confirmation that it is likely valve or rings.
