Reverse light switch isn't connected in anyway to the clutch mate.

What happens / any noise when you put it in gear?

Does the clutch pedal feel like the same as before? Can you see the slave cylinder operating the clutch arm?

pedal is fine you can feel the clutch working when you let it up in gear even tried bleeding it but makes no difference just doesnt seem to bite to give drive

Jack the front up, and see and feel the joints themselves, you may have pulled the inner joint out of its cup. Its going to be a case of re-tracing your steps.

i will give it a go its only the passenger side boots i did would that effect drive to the other wheel

Other thing is that something could have happened in the diff where the driveshafts couple. You could check that the diff is working by jacking up both wheels, put it in gear and turn one of the wheels, if the other wheel turns then the diff gears are working ok.

edit - Unless the inner cv joint has come apart as Pault5 has pointed out, in which case you should be able to see the one half of the cv joint turning.

Yes it would, if one wheel isn't connected, the other wheel wouldn't get any drive.
