will be starting on front in the week and waiting for bucket seats to arrive
as for weight the tube im using (cds)is 2.5 kgs a metre used 8 metres so for
another 7 metres for front.roughly the weight of the sunroof.lol

its not gutted its got 2 seats and a cage
more than enough lol..

it even drives **** on the road with coilovers.

yeah well done on that it looks like a proper bit of kit, be interested to see pics of the completed thing when its done.

Have to agree totally with that nice work, what you planning to do with it?track it? some 1/4 mileing?, sorry if ive missed earlier threads on this but any engine mods to match?.

Pmsl mate, no not worried mate only got myself to beat, but the more the merrier, i just want more people involved, i see people building fast car's and then doing nothing with them apart from driving to work and back, i dont get it? if you build a fast well prepped car then the least you can do is stick it around a track or down the 1/4 mile, what's the point otherwise?

a hope i still have mine when york comes round , and if i still have it then i hope its workin enough that i can run , been to york twice and never raced ,am after a angled downpipe if you know any 1 whos got 1 m8 , but if am not in the t5r al be in something quick with out a doubt

Your cage is looking good have you built it yourself from tube and bent it with a pipe bender.

yes the car will be a track car
its first outing is at donnigton on the 29th of dec

and yes it will be tied to both a and b post ,just waiting for buckets to arrive so i can work around them ?

mods are only mild at the mo
stg 1 1.2 bar
cone induction
3" s/s exhaust and decat
coilvers to track spec (spring and valve rates)
ds 2500,s
and braided brake lines
rose jointed drop links
