Refurb or replace Volans???

Was thinking about the alloys for next summer. Place near me can refurb for £50 a corner, And I was going for Satin black. But I really fancy 18" Pegs in the same colour. Oooh what to do, What to do. :insane:
Opinions?

Yeah I do like the Volans, I just think the Pegs would look a bit, Well, Harder :D

Only downside (Depending on your outlook) Is I'll need a lot bigger brakes with the 18's, Else it'll look daft. The car in the second pic has a nice spec too.

How is this even a question. Volans look SO MUCH BETTER... :D

Plus it's generally accepted that 17"s give the best balance of ride and handling on the 850s/70s, I think.

Hey, It's not the first time I've said I enjoy a nice hard ride. :D
Maybe I'll get the Pegs and try both, Then decide from there.
I just think the Pegs in Satin black will look ace, I have a picture in my head of what I want to end up with thats all.

I have Titans and Volans - and much prefer the Volans. Volans look classy and visually pull the car down onto the road, Titans look sporty but somehow not as stylish (and Pegs are big Titans really). Could always go for Comets - and I have a spare set too - £75 a corner if interested.

TBH it has been clayed in the last 18 months and had some treatment the name of which I forget. Aside from that, it is low mileage and I think always well looked after. In the top pics it had a very special valet. In the bottom ones, about a year later, just regular polishing. The bumper grey has been painted (and it should be grey - anthracite colour). There is a very good product from Wurth for grey bumpers - costs about £30 but you get what you pay for. They sell it on ebay.

Refurb the Volans. Odd how the Guls look better with Volans but the red R's look better with Titans.

here is my volans, this is their original condition, never refurbed, just kept good!! acouple of bubbles but no kerb marks, the continantals all need replaced now hence my thoughts on trading them and buying pegs and new tyres

They are lovely mate very well kepted if u want to do a deal pm me mate if u want to that is lol :) mine are about a year old I dont know if there real or fake but I don't know how to tell :( there all in good condition 1 or 2 have abit Karb rash and pretty good tyres but they are to big for me I just want some Volans as I like them more then the pegs and titans lol that's my opinion anyway lol pm me if u want and I will send u some pics via email ;)

Imho when i put the 18" pegs on my car it just made it for me, was exactly the right size and look i wanted and kept the line of the car nice and straight/clean if you know what i mean.
