Hi, does anyone have any nice 18 or 19 in wheels to swap for the standard 15 spoke S60 wheels with 225/45/17 tyres on. I'm open to ideas on design but i'm aware there aint much choice about too, most probz have to sell em first i think.

i've got an 18" spare i throw in the back for long journeys, but when just driving locally i don't bother keeping 1 in the car

Dont think i'll risk it, isn't there a tyre that will fit on 16s to make it the same rolling circumference as a 18 or 19 ? Is Carol Vorderman free please ?

i work 2 miles away from home so easily walkable if i did get a puncture or something

i put 1 of my 18's (225/35/18) next to a 16" with standard tyre (no idea what size) & the 18" actually had a slightly smaller rolling circumference but there was very little in it

Yeah, but you've got to take into account the cars weight on the tyre, when it's fitted.

TDS if your stressing about a spare and your going onto 18's you can use a 17" spare for short trips. 1 inch difference doesnt make too much difference when driving as a spare, Just add "5" to the tyre wall

I sold a 17" space saver a couple of weeks ago on here for £30 it went for.

Got any pics of the new motor ?

Watch this space, saying that my laptop packed in so i cant use my card reader just yet.
