Screamer pipe??

I'd like some thoughts on screamer pipes....
Does anyone have one on their turbo?
What are the gains?
Is it worth doing?
And where can I get one made?

My view - on a Skyline, possibly. On a Volvo... out of place. Not sure you'll get any gains either!

Only a noise gain. You will need a custom exhaust and manifold aswell

And earplugs. They ain't called screamer pipes for no reason.....!

It effectively vents the turbulant air around the turbine to atmosphere and sounds like a jet. They are banned from vitually all tracks and are not generally used on the road for the noise aspect, together with the fact that the cat is bypassed also.
