can anyone help with info on how to turn off service warning message also alarm service message on 2004 v70 t5 this car is ex traffic police runs like a dream but these lights are doing my head in ?

Its really easy mate, just follow these four steps:

1. Press and hold odometer reset button
2. Turn ignition switch to Run
3. After Service Reset Light flashes, release odometer reset button
4. Confirm by turning your Volvo off, then on again

The battery in alarm module has possibly died, You can get a new siren kit from Rufe for £95 delivered to your door.

Pretty easy IMHO, I did mine in 30 mins or so,
Driver side wheel off
undo bolts above hub to remove splash guards
1 security bolt holds siren module to car.
Instructions come with kit which also contains boonet lock/switch,black rivets and new security bolt for module.

Thanks for this information, had a recent service and the £££££££s did not turn of the service required light. Followed the above and it worked. Thanks again.
