D5 gearbox issue

v70 2004 D5 I have noticed since the temp started dropping that the gearbox is a bit notchy till it warms up especially 1 + 2 goes back to being silky smooth between 5 - 10 mins of driving , known issue ? is there a remedy ?

It's a known issue in cold weather with the S40.

Was fixed by an oil upgrade, you can still feel a bit more stiffness in the box on cold days when it's warming up though - I don't think your stiffness is an indicator of anything potentially problematic.

My S60 is too, doesn't heat up for a a good few miles
