Ok all you Mod Heads out there.. question time... as you know i have an S60 T5. it has a remap on it... but Id like to get more out of it.. what suggestions can you guys offer???.. What Turbo does the standard 2001 T5 have.?? I have read that you can put an 18t or 19t on. but one makes u lose low down power and and the other the oposite..?? I could be wrong so thought Id throw this question out there and see what you guys can come up with in the way of Advice and which would be the best turbo to go for. and what Id be looking at money wise for the turbo and fitting and remap etc etc incase any of you have already done it... cheers people...

Don't forget that the early 16T is different to the later 16T.

How can you tell the difference between an early and late 16t?

later turbo's 1998> have the angled exhaust housings, earlier 96-98 have the straight flanged on the B2354t engines.

There are also slight variations to the angled housings. The later ME7 angled housings 00> have a larger opening on the manifold flange side compared to earlier ME7 angled housings.

HLM hybrid would be my choice - or the 19T, but you need a DP to make the best of it & a custom map. ATM map I have with mine is very nice - and not quite finished. You will see the figures for yourself - only running limited boost & making great numbers.
