sqeaky noisy ?????

Hi all ....got this whining sqeaky noise coming from around the alternator area are the prone to bearing wear or is it perhaps the tensioner ???

i would loosen the belt off and feel or any give in the alt shaft and also the bearing of the tensioner, or if the bearings of he tensioner are open? im not sure, give them a spray of grease see it that quietens it down abit. if it does you found what you need to replace!

sprayed some penetrating oil on the alternator drive shaft and noise went ..... might strip it out and replace the bearings as its chucking out the right volts

Are you sure it isn't just a squeaky belt as these will quieten down immediately if you give them a squirt of WD ?
