MBC Question

Correct me if I'm thinking wrong: With a manual boost controller fitted instead of using the electronic TCV on a 97 850 T-5 does the wastegate still operate or is the MBC doing the work of both the TCV and wastegate?

I'm referring to a twin port MBC not the triple port Bleed valve

the mbc just delays the signal to the wastegate, in simple terms

Thanks so the wastegate still operates as I thought the MBC has a spring type relief valve in it that acts on the screw part

the only thing the mbc does, is restrict the boost air to the wastegate actuator, a bleed valve "bleeds" some of the air off, so does the same thing.
