Having an issue with my factor option hids on v70r. I know I should swap bits from the working side(offside) but boxed in by loom and ecu box so don't want cause any further issues.
Nearside did work until noticed no beam pattern and that bulb was upside down. Now right way up won't work. New osram bulb tried from GSF but still no joy.
The contactor unit (number 7 on vadis i.p.c.) appears to have had a lot of arching and heat in the end. The two contacts have holes burnt through them!
Now as they were working until contactor disturbed and condition of it I think it is down to this but not sure as not clear as to what else it does?
Have read that this a starter as well as looks very sustantial for just a contact plug.
