Turbo and manifold joint?

Should there be a gasket between the turbo and exhaust manifold? maybe sealant? or exhaust paste?

ive never used any thing and im nearly 100% it doesnt need a gasket or paste are you sure its from there as if you have the later down pipe to the turbo it will have a lip on it and if its not seated correctly it will blow like mad
